Purang- Majuli cake

At the time we were trying to cope with leaving the Majuli island, from our land lord together with Ł we got some snack for our long trip. Just in case we are going to be hungry in the morning. They were packets, still warm, wrapped into aromatic Torapat leafs. Preparation as I’ve been taught is very easy. Cleaned leafs you fill with rice and wrap tightly so the packets could hold slow boiling in water.
After boiling rice is very, very aromatic and sticky thanks to the Torapat leafs. It was also so tasty because we got Purang from the family we’ve been leaving close to for 2 weeks.
With such a takeout we were ready to cross the famous and amazingly wide Brahmaputra river.
Enjoy, Krysia

Marta: I love to eat breakfast in the morning and it has to be a quality time. I also think that it's the most important meal of a day. It's so much nicer to start a day early in the morning and spend some time with people you love or with a good magazine and some music. So, let's breakfast!
Krysia: I love to cook and breakfast is my kind of meal in particular. There is something magical in it, perhaps it's the fact that it starts a day. There are people who spend their mornings doing yoga, jogging or reading news. For me the best recipe for a successful day is to begin it with a delicious breakfast!
